Bee Wax are very high quality candles that are preferred by some magic-users but also offer challenges. They are a good, hard candle with a nice burn, but they have a characteristic scent that may clash with scents you are trying to bring into your magick. They are also naturally yellow, which can be a problem when you want to use colored candles, though beeswax can be bleached to white and dyed afterward.
